The Paddock Hall
$405 per night
This little wooden shack is everything. When we rocked up, we were welcomed by chickens running towards our car, two friendly dogs and three intrigued goats. I instantly fell in love and you could just feel the warmth of this place.
What makes this stay so special is it was hand built consciously with sustainably sourced timber and old world joinery. It’s filled with vintage finds and recycled furniture that you won’t find anywhere else. There is a pool, outdoor bath, indoor fire place and fully equipped kitchen. Did I mention goats? These goats are dogs in goat costumes. They are so friendly, love a pat and they’re right outside the Paddock Hall.
Only a 15 minute drive to the beautiful surf beaches of Lennox Head, 10 minutes to the beautiful Killen falls. I recommend checking out the town Newrybar which is less than 15 minutes away. It offers fantastic shopping for homewares, fashion and antiques.
If you head to Lennox Heads, I highly recommend you check out Papaya by Pressed Pantry. Their signature charcoal burger is to die for!
Ocean Shores House
BUILT WITH SUSTAINABILITY IN MIND | $339 per night
You may be thinking… where have I seen this house before? It was featured on Grand Designs Australia S7 – Episode 5 and Green Magazine… & you can have a staycay here, how neat is that! Brisbane-based architects Atelier Chen Hung built this beautiful modern-style home with a sustainable attitude and a natural, minimalistic vibe. When we walked in we were instantly looking at all the details found throughout the house. It really is something else and we took away some house inspo for the future. It is inspiring and I really dig the massive window with the outdoor greenery. Located in a small town Ocean Shores, you can have a quiet getaway or drive a few minutes to the beautiful Brunswick Heads and/or Byron Bay. You can actually see a glimpse of the Byron Bay lighthouse from the upper level.
Besides the beautiful seaviews, it has everything you need. Laundry, full kitchen, parking, wifi, and bathhouse. It is super kid friendly, with a trampoline and full fence.

The Beach Abode
$795 per night
Located in the heart of Brunswick Heads you’ll find The Beach Abode. Alex and I spent two nights here and this place is literally, house goals. It is so cozy and super clean! We spent our first night watching Netflix and our second night with a bottle of bubbles in the bath.
The accomodation is walkable distance to cafes, shops, restaurants and the beach! Brunswick is roughly a 20 min drive from the popular spot Byron. If you are looking at having a holiday in this area, you can book this on airbnb here!
